Barbara Gordon is the daughter of Lieutenant Jim Gordon.
Biography[]
When the vigilante known as Batman secretly called her father, while the Gotham City Police Department were investigating one of Riddler's puzzles, he used his daughter as an alibi, saying he's talking to her while in reality talking to Batman, whom the police distrusted.[1]

- In the film's official script book, Barbara Gordon was mentioned by Jim Gordon, directly by name, in a scene where the GCPD investigate Riddler's puzzles. The scene was even filmed, however, it was cut from the final version of the film.
- In the DC comics, Barbara Gordon eventually becomes the vigilante Batgirl.
