The Bombing of Wayne Tower was the attempted assassination of Bruce Wayne. The bombing was orchestrated by Riddler and resulted in the near death of Alfred Pennyworth.

FDGC arriving at Wayne Tower
On his way back to Wayne Tower, Batman desperately tries to contact Alfred Pennyworth and warn him of the impending danger. Eventually, the call is answered, but not by Alfred. Instead, Dory answers and Batman tells her that something terrible is about to happen. To his dismay, Dory informs him that it already did, and Batman realizes she is telling the truth as he sees smoke flowing out of Wayne Tower.
