Carla Viti was the sister of Johnny Viti and cousin of Sofia Falcone.
History[]
Early Life[]
Carla and her brother Johnny were the cousins of Isabella Falcone.[1] During her youth, she and her cousin Sofia Falcone used to travel a lot to Lake Como in Italy and spend wild nights getting drunk and hanging out with Italian boys, getting into trouble for it.[2] She resided in New York City.[3]
Framing Sofia[]
After Sofia was arrested and framed for the Hangman murders, Carmine Falcone had their whole family, including Carla and Johnny, write false reports that Sofia showed signs of mental illness after the death of her mother.[3] At some point, Carla married a man, and together they had a daughter named Gia.[2]
Alberto's Funeral[]
Carla and her family came to Gotham for her cousin Alberto's funeral. Sofia had since been released from Arkham, and the Family feared she seeked revenge. The day of Alberto's wake, Luca Falcone requested that Carla suggests her and Sofia go on a girls trip to Italy just like when they were younger.
During the memorial at the Falcone Mansion, Carla greeted Sofia and suggested they go to Italy together. When Gia came over asking if she could have cake, Sofia greeted her, which made Carla slightly hold Gia back. Sofia fixed Gia's beret and told Carla to watch out for Gia, as she could potentially have a doomed future being a woman in their Family. Carla then took Gia away.[2]
Death[]
Later on, Carla was present at a Family dinner with her husband and daughter. When Sofia came in and delivered a speech, Carla had Gia go to bed and attempted to go with her, but was told to sit down by Sofia. After dinner that night, Carla and the rest of the Family, with the exception of Gia and Johnny, were killed when Sofia sabotaged the pipe system with carbon dioxide, letting it spread in the house overnight.[3]
Legacy[]
After Carla's death, Gia was taken by Social Services, and was sent to live in the Brookside Children's Home. Sofia later visited Gia, where she denied killing Carla and the Family, but did admit that they were bad people and she was glad they were dead.
Personality[]
Carla is showed as a mother who loved Gia. She was accomplice with Sofia but when she was suspected to be the Hangman, Carla denied her and has showed a cowardly face, preferring to believe her family instead of Sofia.

- In DC Comics, Carla Viti is the sister of Carmine Falcone, the mother of Johnny and Lucia Viti, and the grandmother of Gaetano and Romano Viti. She married Felice Viti, the head of the Viti Crime Family in Chicago. After Felice's death, Carla became the new head of the Vitis. In Batman: The Long Halloween, She is killed on her brother’s birthday by the Holiday Killer.
