Flooding of Gotham City[]
After the Riddler destroyed parts of the Gotham City Seawall, Crown Point was known to be one of the districts of Gotham City most affected by the flooding, suffering severe damage and economic hardship.
The Aftermath of the Flooding[]
Oz Cobb would set up Bliss manufacturing in one of the abandoned subway access terminals as it provided a gateway to Gotham City and its connected districts (Mid-Town, Downtown, and Tricorner) as Salvatore Maroni and Sofia Falcone were hunting him down.

- In DC Comics, Crown Point is one of the worst neighborhoods of Gotham City and part of The Bowery district. It is located north of Sprang River and west of Robbinsville. Crown Point was featured as a major location in the comic storyline Batman: City of Crime (2005–2006).

- Crown Point in The Penguin is the second live-action version of the neighborhood, following several prior appearances in the 2014 television series Gotham.
