Bruce Wayne's Crucial Talks[]
Sometime during Batman's first year as an active vigilante, Bruce Wayne hosted an event at Gotham City Hall for crucial talks. At the event, he encountered the Joker, a killer whom he was battling as the vigilante Batman. A Gotham news outlet reported on Wayne's public event afterwards, and how he was spotted with a mysterious, hidden woman, who in reality was the Joker.
Riddler's Attack[]
When Mayor Don Mitchell, Jr. was murdered by the Riddler, a funeral was held for him in the courthouse which was crashed by the Riddler when held District Attorney Gil Colson hostage with a bomb strapped to his chest.[1]

- According to a map in the book The Art of The Batman, Gotham City Hall is located in Downtown Gotham City.
Behind the Scenes[]
- In the DC Comics, the Gotham City Hall was the chief administrative building of Gotham City and the main workplace for members of the Gotham City Council including the Mayor of Gotham. During Rupert Thorne's tenure as chairman of the City Council, the place was used as a meeting place for Thorne and his cronies. He also used the basement of City Hall for his criminal operations such as blackmailing and torture.
