Link Tsai is a former deputy of the Triads, who conspired with the Penguin to gain power in the criminal underworld, which resulted in him killing his former boss, Feng Zhao, and Penguin becoming the next kingpin.
Biography[]
It is unknown where or when Link was born, but what is clear is that at some point he joined the Triads, rising to the rank of Deputy, one of the Dai Lao Feng Zhao's lieutenants.
Throughout his criminal life, Link did several business deals with Oswald Cobb, also known as the Penguin, an associate of the Falcone Family, of whom he became a kind of a convenient friend.

Personality[]
Link is almost always calm, even when he got angry at Ozwald for not having the money he promised. As seen when he agreed to talk to Oswald and Sofia, he is able to put aside his personal grudge and even the enmity between the Triads and the Falcones if he believes that it can bring benefits to his organization.
As shown when he hit Vic to make him shut up knowing that he would be executed for disrespecting the gang leaders, Link, after years in Zhao's service, knows that he must know his place or he will lose his life for it.
Link has a cautious attitude towards generous offers from people he does not trust; knowing the Penguin's con-man personality, he demanded proof that he had the support of Johnny Viti, and when Sofia promised to leave the power of the Falcones to whoever brought her the Penguin, Link was the first to believe it was a ruse.
Link has shown a certain level of loyalty towards the Penguin, as when Sofia put a bounty on him he chose to help Oswald finish her off once and for all.
Link has also shown ambition for success, and disloyalty to Feng Zhao whom he betrayed and shot in the back; according to Oswald this is due to the immense resentment he felt for being ignored by Zhao for years, while he didn't give Link a chance to be his successor.
