Mr. Cobb was the father of Oswald Cobb, the Penguin.
Biography[]
Early life[]
At some point, Mr. Cobb met a woman named Francis. The two would get married and have three sons, Jack, Oswald, and Benny Cobb.
At some point when his sons were very young, Cobb had struggled with providing for his family, and it got to the point that they could no longer keep the heat on in their home. Francis, deeply concerned for their sons, told Cobb that she would go to Rex Calabrese, the local crime boss, if he couldn't help them.
Eventually, by 1988, Cobb had either died or left his family, which ultimately left Francis to take care of their sons all on her own.
Legacy[]
Cobb's absence would cause Francis to treat their eldest son Jack as the responsible male in the family, however, after both Jack and Benny were killed in 1988, Oz took up the responsibility of providing for his mother, and promised her he wouldn't end up like his father.
Personality[]
From dialogue between Oz and Francis, Mr. Cobb was considered a disappointment by his wife and sons, as he would talk about how he would provide for his family and give them a good life, but he failed at making money to help them get by.
