History[]
Assassination of Don Mitchell, Jr.[]

Riddler tapes up Don Mitchell, Jr.'s corpse
On Halloween night, Don Mitchell, Jr. was watching the Gotham News for his debate with Bella Reál the previous night. Unbeknownst to him, Riddler had infiltrated his home using the skylight, and was standing behind him. Mitchell made a quick phone call, and turned off the television. Whilst walking away, Riddler screamed and bludgeoned Mitchell in the back of the head, knocking him down. The Riddler then duct taped Mitchell's head with "NO MORE LIES" put on it in red. At some point while Mitchell was alive, the Riddler cut off Mitchell's thumb to give Batman a clue for what he wanted him to do next.
Assassination of Pete Savage[]

Pete Savage is murdered by Riddler
Following Don Mitchell, Jr.'s death, Riddler kidnapped Gotham City Police Department commissioner Pete Savage while he was going for a workout during the night. He injected him with rat poison, and put a cage full of rats over his head. He duct taped his mouth shut, and similar to Mitchell, had the words "NO MORE LIES" on it. Riddler then broadcasted Savage's death, where he promised to continue killing until the truth about Gotham City was finally revealed. Later Batman and Jim Gordon discovered that Savage's head had been mutilated and shredded by the rats.
