Trivia[]

  • According to the Warner Bros. Discovery and the Fandom Community, The Batman Universe is set in a universe opposite to the DC Extended Universe known as Earth-2.[6] DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn would later clarify The Batman Universe as being a part of the studio's "DC Elseworlds" banner, existing adjacent to the new DC Universe (DCU) franchise succeeding the DCEU, and its upcoming iteration of Batman being introduced in the film, The Brave and the Bold.[7]
  • In October 17, 2022, The Hollywood Reporter stated that Matt Reeves was meeting with writers and directors regarding additional films and television series centered around Batman's rogue's gallery. Various projects focusing on Scarecrow, Clayface, and Professor Pyg are in early stages of development.[8]
