The Train Gang are a ruthless street gang of punks in Gotham City who occupy the Gotham Subway.[1]
History[]
Confronted by Batman[]
On Halloween of 2022, the Train Gang were riding the Gotham Subway watching a video of them knocking out a jogger and laughing. When a man moved away from them out of fear, their leader noticed this and he and the gang followed him as they were leaving the subway. As the thugs encourage a gang initiate to knock out the man, they hear footsteps and notice Batman stepping out of the shadows and beats down every one of them. Batman leaves the initiate unharmed, as he had stayed clear of the brawl and attempted to de-escalate. Cowed, the remaining thugs and initiate run off.[1]

Trivia[]
- Every member of the gang wears white and black face-paint that makes them look like skeletons.
- The Train Gang is a reference to the Neon Gang from the 1995 film Batman Forever, a gang that also used paint that glows in the dark to make them look like skeletons. The 1997 movie Batman & Robin also featured a similar street gang known as the Golums. The Undead from the 2014 television series Gotham are another allusion to the Neon Gang.
