The Utility Belt is a specially designed belt worn by Batman. The belt is filled with an arsenal of gadgets, weapons, and tools, to aid him in his mission.

- Grapple Gun: Used to travel around Gotham City, escape danger, and remain hidden from foes.
- Adrenaline Shot An injection device that doses the user with a shot of Adrenaline, also called Epinephrine, in order to quickly get Batman back into the fight if he has been incapacitated by an injury such as a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, it has the unintended side effect of boosting the user's aggression.
- Sticky Bombs: An adhesive electronic explosive device that can be affixed to a surface before a timed detonation. This device was used to rupture a steam pipe, giving Batman a smokescreen that he used to cover his movements.
- Ultraviolet Flashlight: Used to reveal messages written by Riddler using a fluorescent invisible ink, and to provide a forensic light source while investigating crime scenes.
- Flares: Used to illuminate the dark, and guide Gotham citizens to safety from the flood waters and debris.
- Handcuffs are not used in the movie but appear in the art book. They are used to arrest some restrained criminal.
